The weightage formula as per PMDC for MCAT is Result of the Matric is 10%, Result of Intermediate is 40% while MCAT entrance Test result is 50% so all the applicants who laid down on this same eligibility criteria will be able to get admission in the Medical Colleges of the Punjab.
Every year MCAT test open the doors to its students to fill 3400 Seats in public medical colleges and around 45000 students every year appear in this test. The test pattern consists of 220 multiple choice questions including 88 MCQs for biology, 58 chemistry, 44 Physics and 30 from English. The aggregate marks of MCAT test are 1100 where each correct answer scores 5 marks while each wrong question scores -1. Time allowed to attempt this test is 2 Hr. 30 Minutes.
